Top Attraction – Lindos Acropolis, Rhodes
A standout highlight of my time in Greece was visiting the Lindos Acropolis. After wandering through the whitewashed, cobbled streets of Lindos, the walk up to the ancient ruins rewards you with breathtaking views over the turquoise bay below. It’s one of Rhodes’ most iconic landmarks and an absolute must-see for lovers of history, scenery and Greek charm.
Must See & Do – Corfu Town & Pefkos Beach
In Rhodes, we enjoyed a family stay at the Princess Adriana Hotel—a fantastic choice for luxury and comfort. We took local buses to explore Lindos and spent a wonderfully relaxed day at Pefkos Beach, where the soft sand and calm waters were simply stunning.
Corfu offers a completely different charm, with Corfu Town’s harbour filled with boutique shops, pretty patisseries and Venetian-style architecture. It’s the perfect place to wander, shop and soak up the island’s elegant atmosphere.

Greece’s islands can be easily explored using local transport, giving you the freedom to discover hidden beaches and traditional villages at your own pace. For families, choose a hotel with great facilities—like the Princess Adriana—so everyone can relax in between sightseeing days. And don’t forget to pack comfortable footwear for cobbled streets and hilltop viewpoints, as many of Greece’s prettiest spots are best explored on foot.
